On the usual scale of horror films, it's not that bad. There are definately worse gore-fests out there, but if you are sqeamish then there are a couple of scenes that will definately turn your stomache. Having said that, my main gripe with the gore in it is that it is only a 15 rating- and damn, but this film needs to be an 18. >_> The fact that they lowered the classification on it is a joke- and not a very good one at all.
