Busy Busy....
Jan. 17th, 2012 08:23 pm So, I have missed a few updates, I think! Let's see....
Over the weekend I went to Southampton with my friend Charlie. We went to a car boot sale there which was huge, but also butt-numbingly cold. I got a Myth and Magic one year only piece called 'The Taskmaster' for a reasonable price. I bought it from a guy who didn't even have it on display- he just had the tatty looking box on the table, unopened. I thought it was *just* an empty box until I poked it and realised it weighed a ton (as large pewter models tend to!) I also got an old Pound Puppy plushy- one of the slightly creepy big ones, with a pouch in the belly that has 3 puppies in. It is complete- puppies and all- and it makes me laugh. I can't believe people pitched such a fit over these things- as if 3 little stuffed dogs in the pocket of a slightly bigger stuffed dog could actually corrupt the morals and innocence of small children. XD
In Other News:
Yesterday was my first day back on shift. I am working on the midwife led B5 ward of QA hospital, and it was busy as hell (as it always is.) I can't go into details, as ever, but it was a good shift, even though I got home and basically collapsed from exhaustion. >_>; Of course, that might be partly because I messed up my bus time table, got up at 5am to be at work on time... and was actually a full hour early. <_>; Oops.
I am back in again tomorrow. I have spent most of today recovering, so I think I aught to be ok. ^__^.
