Mar. 10th, 2012 12:08 amI have just come back from a nice evening at a friend's house. Unfortunately, I forgot it was Friday and missed out on a call, but I hope that can be rearranged. I've been trying to take my mind of the recurrence of my depression, and things are slipping my mind left right and centre. Like names. I keep forgetting what the hell everyone is called- family members, close friends, people I see every day... even characters in my favourite TV programs! >_<; I been through this phase of memory loss before, and I wish I could say that it's easy to cope with by writing everything down and/or using a diary..... but alas, I keep forgetting to check the diary. >_>; Bloody typical.
Having said that, the day started well when I received a box from
muted_hitokiri , containing C A Cupid and Gil for my Monster High collection, as well as a surprise teeny-tiny little pewter dragon, whom I have named Bean. <3 All these things are Very Good Indeed. Cupid is amazing, Gil looks scared of Nefera, and Bean is sitting on top of one of my pill bottles, looking excessively cute and dragon-y. XD
Unfortunately, I made the mistake of lying down to read a book shortly after opening the parcel and woke up 6 hours later feeling like death. >_>; I spent the rest of the day in a bit of stupor, until Charlie called me up and forced me out of the house to go and visit her. We watched most of the last season of 'Avatar: The Last Airbender,' and getting out of my room has certainly been a good thing.
I am still really, really tired, though, and after I post this I'm pretty much heading straight to bed.
I have a doctor's appointment next week. I'm going to ask to go back on antidepressants or mood stabilisers- at least until whatever this blip is passes.
