Something Amazing
Mar. 28th, 2012 11:15 pmSo, those of you who were around during the depth of my depression probably remember post after post complaining about the behaviour of other people playing World of Warcraft. I know I used to complain at length about raiding, and doing dungeons, and how unfriendly other players were towards people who were not in the OMGBest gear from the word go, and how hard it was to get gear when no-one would help you find it.
Well, I am happy to report that Rift is absolutely, completely, utterly different.
( Yay for raids! )
So yeah.... raiding on Rift? Excellent. Couldn't be happier. Oh, and just so this isn't all about boring game stuff, here's another pretty picture of Glint watching one of the 1st Birthday Celebration parades going past:

(The giant baloon float is made to look like Akylios, the dragon of madness and the deep. He's wibbly. ^__^)
In Other News:
Prior to all this, I was working all day with my community mentor to make up some of the hours I missed when I was ill a few weeks ago. It was lovely- lovely weather, lovely people, and a job that I adore. <3
I finished early at 3pm, because my mentor had to go and do some supervision work which is confidential stuff involving complaints and things, so I spent the rest of the afternoon reading a book in the sun. It was a beautiful hazy afternoon by the sea, with a light breeze, and it really couldn't have been any more idyllic.
