Newsflash: I'm still fat.
Apr. 30th, 2012 12:19 am I've been feeling pretty down about my weight recently. (And by that, I mean more than usual, because I actually haven't felt good about my weight for years and years.)
I don't know if I posted about it on here, but my last prescription actually made me put on weight, so after a good two years of struggling to get my weight down and failing, some bastard medication has actually made things worse. Sure, it's helping with other things, but I put on about 10 pounds in 3 weeks. I have managed to stop it getting worse, but even so... I just feel crappy about it.
To try and do something useful about it (other than capping my calorie intake and cutting as much sugar out of my diet as possible) I have started walking at night again. This time I am trying to walk fast enough so that I *just* feel out of breath afterwards, and not for too long. I think it will be a good way to start out.
The downside, though? The weather. It has been raining on and off ever since I got back from Dad's, and it's driving me nuts. >_< I hate walking in the rain, and my comfy shoes have a hole in them. I kind of want to get trainers, but at the same time.... I hate trainers. >_>; Yay.
But seriously, I don't know what to do. I'm back in my little cycle of despair, and I'm not sure if 15mins power walking every other night will do much, but it has to be better than doing nothing and hoping that yet another fad diet and/or pointlessly condescending nutritionist.

Giant Myth and Magic figure is Giant! ^__^
It's called 'The Power of the Crystal' and the circular base is over 35cm across. It weighs a metric fuckton, which is now an actual measurment of weight because DAMMIT THIS THING IS HEAVY. >_<; It actually arrived in a box that the delivery guy needed my help to lift. But hey, it is solid pewter...
Anyway, I just wanted to share because my dragons make me feel happy. The guy I bought this one from is sending me 2 more- one of which is another whopper. I will probably put up pictures of those too, now that photobucket is working again. ^__^.
