So, you know how people come out of exams and say 'there were things on there they didn't even teach us!!!' and you kind of know that they just didn't pay attention or revise hard enough? Well, this time there really were things on the exam that we hadn't been taught. >_>; Only two questions, and they were only one point each, but it seriously spooked us all out. >_<;
The rest of the exam- while appropriately taught- was by far the hardest exam I have ever done. It was a only a multiple choice one on a computer, but somehow it was just.... awful. Just awful. I actually wanted to cry reading some of the questions, and I walked out convinced I was going to fail.
The uni then pulled a fast one on us- they told us the results wouldn't be out for 3 weeks.... then posted them while we were driving home. XD I was sharing a car with my friends Aimi, Claire and Jade, and after a heads up text from someone else we used Aimi's iphone to check out what we all got. By some major miracle of the gods, we all passed- and passed well! ^___^ We all instantly went from being deeply depressed to over the moon happy- it was really funny! XD
I got 80%.
I have never been more surprised about an exam result. Ever.
Actually, driving over for the exam turned out to be a really good idea- the people who were waiting for the coach put on by the university had to contend with a driver who arrived to pick them up, then insisted on taking a 45min break before driving them anywhere. >_>; Needless to say our head of year was furious- they arrived seconds before the exam was due to start and were all really stressed out (understandably so). By driving over in Claire's car, we arrived 2 hours early, and had to time to relax and chat before going in. I think that is definitely the better way to go about things.
In Other News:
I went to weigh-in today and I have lost another 2lbs! ^__^ That brings me to a total of 1stone 1lb! This makes me amazingly happy, especially since after Dad's wedding I wasn't expecting more than half a lb at best. ^__-
Oh, and I snagged a nude 'Dawn of the Dance' Clawdeen on e-bay, for a not unreasonable price. ^__^ Now I only need a Lagoona and I will have 1 of all the main girl characters from the series.
So yeah, apart from the couple of hours between leaving the exam to getting the results, today has been a pretty kick-ass day!
