A bit out of the left field.....

 ....but tonight I sent off a rather scary e-mail to the local council, asking for more information on their local adoption processes.

( Its not often I plan this far ahead in life.  )

Of course, I am not ruling out the possibility of falling in love, marrying, and adopting kids with someone else.  Or marrying someone who has kids of their own.  

I just.... I dunno.  
Maybe I'm just peering through a door, to see if the hallway leads the way I want to go.
