Something may have gone wrong with my diet, but I'm not entirely sure what. I mean, I have a vague idea, but I'm not 100% sure- just slightly pissed off about it.
Every week after weigh-in I have one 'bad' meal- a treat of some kind, like fish and chips, or fried chicken.... something that I 'shouldn't' have while dieting. My philosophy on this diet is not to ban myself from eating anything, because if I do I will only want it more- and so far, it's worked well.
Anyway, this week me and some friends were supposed to go and see Batman after weigh-in and I was planning to have a highly overpriced but lovely bucket of pop-corn as my treat. But the cinema was so busy that the only showing we could have gone to was at 9:30pm, and even then we would have been right at the front.... so we went to a local pub instead, and I had a platter of various nice things instead- ribs, breaded mushrooms, chicken strips, and garlic bread. It was very nice, and pleasant evening was had by all. ^__^
Only, now it's Monday and I haven't lost any weight at all this week. -__- Normally Monday is the day when I start to notice it going down again- even if it's only by half a pound (and to be honest, half a pound is all I ever aim to lose- any more than that is always a massive bonus.) But.... nothing. It's really annoying because this week I have pretty much just lived on salads because of the heat, so if ever there was a week when I should be losing, it's this one. >_>;
I'm wondering if the garlic bread has messed me up. I've had bread maybe once since I started this diet, and every time it makes me constipated and bloated. I'm pretty sure now that I'm intolerant of something in it, so it's probably not something I should ever have in large quantities in the future.
In the meantime, though, I will be seriously bummed out if this is the first week where I don't lose any weight. >_<;
