Happy Birthday Princess Opal!
Sep. 17th, 2014 09:08 pm A proud moment for me: my little wiggly princess turned two years old today! I had hoped to have her new vivarium ready for the occasion, but I still have work to do on it. So, she received a brand new giant Smarties cardboard tube to play with instead. ^__-. It will do for now.
In Other News:
I'm on a mood crash, since all my friends from uni qualify this week, and most of them are (rightfully) excited to be starting their new jobs as midwives. Their constant posts on Facebook have gotten me down, though, because I feel like I aught to be there with them. -__-;. Yes, I made the right decision when I deferred, but that doesn't make it easy to live with.
Also, it's freshers week here in Portsmouth, and whatever plague this year's new bunch of students has brought in has knocked me pretty hard. I have been sleeping badly and been quite nastily sick. It's horrible.
On the plus side, I've been knitting like a demon. >_>; Already 20inches into the scarf I'm making my step mum for Christmas.
