So, I applied for a job at the hospital I'm training in, got turned down for an interview, then contacted them for feedback on my application and was told 'OOPS WE MISREAD YOUR QUALIFICATION DATE!!' They then gave me an interview, although I'm trying not to broadcast it too much because nerves and stuff.
That's awesome news. This is a good thing.
A sort of bad thing, though, is that after they turned me down I applied for a job in Bristol, sort of like a rebound thing because it was there and I wanted to give a metaphorical finger to the hospital that I thought had turned me down flat. Well, they too have offered me an interview- on the exact same day and time as my interview here in Portsmouth. -__-;
I have sent them a message asking if they have any alternatives on offer. I don't mind doing a mad dash to get there, and all, but getting from Portsmouth to Bristol in 30mins is pushing it, I think..... ^__-.

In Other News:
I finished a short story recently and I am seriously considering putting it up on Kindle as a download, just so that I can have something published and out there. I am also very close to finishing a novel, but I want to at least try approaching publishers with that before self-publishing, and I can't decide if having some works already 'out there' would be a good or a bad thing. On the one hand, it might get me some feedback and maybe pick up some followers who would be more likely to buy a book by me if they like my writing style. On the other hand, it might make me look like a self-publishing wannabe, which might be a turn off to a publishing house.
I honestly can't decide.
I also have no idea how to get a cover image if I do decide to go for it. I can draw, but not well enough for that. :/ I will probably have to chase down a friend and force money on them in order to help- which I am certainly not against, as far as plans go. ^__-.
