Feb. 18th, 2012 06:44 pm Last night was awesome.  I installed Skype and spent about 2 hours talking to
rorekgwolfe  via the interwebs.  ^__^ Seriously- this is proper sci-fi stuff, when you can see and talk to someone on the other side of the planet so easily!
If anyone wants to add me, my Skype name is also Misguidance. I will usually be on in the evenings, unless I am playing Skyrim or Amalur, obviously. ^__-
I also wanted to thank everyone for replying to my last post. You guys always help me feel better, and I really appreciate your input on everything.
In Other News:
I'm about to leave for my last shift on this rotation. As of Monday I will be back in lectures, which will be cool but also I'm a little sad to leave the birth unit/community circuit again. My next placement will be on the post and antenatal wards, then I am on labour ward (the high risk unit) at the end of the year, so after tonight I may not see any more normal, low-risk births until my second year. I also won't see my community mentor, Jackie, until September, and I am going to miss her. -__-; She is amazing, and I adore her- it's going to be really weird doing two whole placements without her being around.
*sad face*
Unrelated to this, I managed to find a Monster High Skeleton pack in town today, and I spent most of the morning trying to mod it on to a second-hand Spectra body. I managed the arms and head with minimal trouble, but the legs are driving me nuts. >_<; I am going to have to crack the thighs open completely to remove the pegs from the lower legs, so I can get in the pegs from the skeleton set, and at the moment I don't have the tools to do it. >_>; I will try and finish her some time next week.... but for now she is just a torso with arms, perched on a stand with my other girls. She looks waaaay too perky for someone who has no legs, to be honest. XD
