Eccentric mid-life crisis? XD
Jan. 9th, 2013 09:43 pm So, today has been busy and excellent. ^__^
First of all, I had my weekly weigh-in and I have lost 9.5lbs!! ^____^ Another 2.5 next week and I will have undone all the damage I did over Christmas! XD Anything I lose after that will just be a bonus, really! ^__- Also, it feels good to be back in charge of what I am eating. My Dad is an amazing cook, but it's *his* kitchen and *his* food, and that makes it hard to say no when he makes stuff that is horribly bad for me. >_>; Not that I complained much. It was amazing!
Anyway, before that I went into town because I needed new trainers (my last pair split and were so cheap that it's more cost effective to replace them, rather than repair them...), and while I was roaming around Sports Direct, I found the most amazingly awesome pair of trainers ever to be laced:

The down side? They are kid's size.
The up side? My freakishly small feet happen to perfectly fit kids' size shoes. ;)
The company did have a more 'grown-up' adult pair that were plain black with a small Batman logo, but my inner child squeeeee'd at these ones, and I had to have them. XD They are very possibly the coolest non-New Rocks pair of shoes I have ever owned.
After that, I legged it back to Albert Road to visit my tattooist, who inked me up with my long-planned Morrowind/Skyrim tattoo:
( Cut to save space. )
So yeah, all in all the day has been pretty awesome. ^__^ The only thing is, I am a little worried that maybe this is some kind of geeky mid-life crisis thing.... new tattoo... crazy shoes.... ^__-; Well, whatever it is, I'm pretty damn OK with it. :P
