Doll Stuff
Jan. 17th, 2013 11:00 am So, I have a new doll coming. ^__^ You guys all know that.
I haven't got the tracking details yet because the seller is moving house and has unreliable internet (and that's just fine- we've all been there and know what that's like!), but in a way that's not a bad thing, because it's given me a few extra days to work out what I want to do with him. >_>;
I've wanted a D for ages, and over the years I have mulled over a number of ideas for one. Originally, I wanted him for one of my book characters, but since then the character has changed a lot and now isn't really suitable for the general BJD shape. Since then I have had thoughts ranging from computer game characters right the way through to 'pretty clothes horse' feelings, without ever being able to decide on thinking. I still love the doll though, so I have spent a lot of time flicking through doll stuff looking for inspiration. Anyway, after a long, hard think about it (and also a long, hard 2 hour boss fight on my DS), I have decided that I am going to go back to one of my very early ideas, and turn him into my Castlevania fan doll- specifically, Soma Cruz.

So yeah, this could be a fairly long and drawn-out process, especially as money is relatively tight at the moment. I think I should be able to have a basic get-up put together for him fairly quickly, but it may take a lot longer to have him in a good, accurate costume that I would be happy to show him off in in the long run.
I really can't wait to get started on it! ^__^.
