The more I read Facebook, the more irritated I get. My entire feed at the moment is a string of politically relevant but infuriating articles, links to rage-inducing examples of inequality and bigotry (usually with relevant commentary, but still it riles me up) and a long, long strings of arguments and differing opinions.
None of these things are inherently bad. Discussion is good. We need to keep each other informed of what is going on in the world. It's all just fine.
...except when that's all that's going on. I don't know if it's the weather, the time of year, or what, but it seems like there is no 'normal' stuff on facebook. Everything is stressful, everything is a serious debate. Even the stuff that's meant to be 'fun' seems to devolve into SERIOUS BUSINESS.
I have too much going on for this. I don't want to sign off from facebook because right now it's the only way I keep up with some people, but at the same time, I kind of miss hearing about people's lives, instead of just being bombarded with all this political stuff and people get angry over minor semantics in jokes and article titles. -__-;
