Mice

So... we have mice.

Not mice in a cage- no.... we have managed to attract the wild variety.  Amusingly, they are getting in through a massive hole behind our toilet, which was here when we moved in.  Still, it's a shaming moment when your flat attracts vermin, no matter how cute and fluffy they are.  And they are- they are adorable little brown balls of fluff, all cute and twitchy and completely not afraid of us.

>___<;

Typically, we have discovered this the night before I begin a stretch of 3 night shifts, so I can't even stay home and clean the place top to bottom.  Ad doesn't seem all that concerned that mice presumably means we are not as clean as we think we are, and is really only concerned with keeping them out of his bedroom.  So most of this will probably fall to me, even though I am working full time with uni/placements, and he is off until the end of September.  Needless to say, I am THRILLED. -__-;

The funny thing is, there isn't actually much in the way of food lying about.  There's quite a bit of dust and old cardboard boxes (Ad and I are both so used to moving that we are loath to get rid of anything that might be useful for packing), but not much in the way of food.  I have no idea what has attracted them in, but whatever it is, we have to get rid of it ASAP.

Blegh.
